Who are the Clydesdale Colts?
The Clydesdale Colts Cycling Club, based in South Lanarkshire is a British Cycling Go-Ride accredited cycling club in the heart of Clydesdale. The aim of the Clydesdale Colts is to introduce young people to cycle sport . We currently have opportunities for boys and girls age 5 to 16 to participate and enjoy cycling's multi-disclipines.

All children in the above age group who enjoy riding a bike, are welcome to join us at our regular Go-Ride coaching sessions as follows:
Year Long
Saturdays : from 9:30AM to 11AM at Chatelherault Country Park
Summer Only (April to October)
Each Tuesday : 6:30PM to 8PM at Summerlee Kart Track, Larkhall. Coaching Sessions in the form of Time Trial Races ( on bikes, not Karts ! ) We alternate the groups on the track between younger and older groups each week.
Our young riders have lots of opportunities to ride and get started (using any kind of bicycle); we develop programs and events that encourage team-building and participation. They will learn bike-handling skills, how to ride safely and take part in fun races. Children who show an interest and aptitude for slightly more serious racing can take part in age-related events both at our venues and at those of other Go-Ride Cycling Clubs throughout the country.
Once they have the bug, they'll be cyclists for life! Parents are also encouraged to help in any way they can, from administration to riding with a coaching group as a parent helper.
