About the Club

The Clydesdale Colts Youth Cycling Club begin its coaching sessions in August 2011 and was officially constituted in November 2011. We are affiliated to British Cycling, via Scottish Cycling, and also have a link to the Royal Albert Cycling Club.

The Club's Purpose is to promote, coach and encourage boys and girls under 17 in the Clydesdale area to become proficient in bike-handling skills and to participate in age-related races either locally or across the country. With this comes teamwork and friendship. This is British Cycling's Go-Ride Scheme for Under 17s in action, and our constitution, to enable us to bring this about, is shown below.
